I would recommend upgrading both primary and secondary firmware images on the cards. PRI 1.0.5 and STA 1.3.4 have known problems that cause packet corruption on PCI bus. This can cause high amount of corrupt packets which are then dropped at some level of the network stack.

That's quite unfortunate.. I have not been able to repeat such hang with the latest version of the driver in my tests and it is a bit difficult to find this without getting some more information. It is quite possible that there is some kind of race condition in the latest driver version, but it does not seem to come up in my test systems.
