# Testing

1. FreeBSD kernel recognizes the card combo as a <Netgear MA301> and continues to boot.
2. I start my wireless script and place the card in hostap mode
3. ifconfig wi0 is fine except it auto media's to <DS/2Mps> which can be changed
4. Using Netstumbler I can find the AP with low link quality and wireless client will only sporadically connect.
5. ifconfig wi0 debug and client stats show a EXTREMELY large number of management packets from the AP.
6. When client connects connect is very slow and link quality will fall to nothing when trying to use the connection.
7. I have also experienced timeout errors

# Things I have tried to resolve the problem.

1. I have tried to downgrade the firmware on 2 laptops win98 and winxp I found firmware 1.3.4 on the shipped CD and Firmware 0.8.3 on the net. The 1.3.4 will hang and the 0.8.3 will not let me try.
2. CVS's FreeBSD 4-Stable and build world but same problem.
3. Tried all modes 1-6 and bridged and unbridged
