this is exactly the behaviour i found with the cvs versions since Aug 1. the relase version (Prism2-2002-05-19) gives me 'resetting card' while recent cvs versions cause kernel ooops. don't ask me why, but the cvs from Jul 1 works without errors, so something got broken during July.
i did not look into any of these issues, since i found a version that Works For Me (tm). you could do some debugging or just grab that older version ..
