Hello,
tried hostap today and after trying various drivers for my netgear 401, this driver works well in connection with my ibook. One problem: I applied the MAC-access patch for 04-24 and figured out how to set access lists with MAC adresses. By the default the driver is working in open-mode and so not taking care of the access lists. How can I set it to allow-mode? Found no iwpriv-commandos that can do this:
wlan0 Available private ioctl : monitor (89F0) : set 1 int & get 0 prism2_param (89F1) : set 2 int & get 0 readmif (89F2) : set 1 byte & get 1 byte writemif (89F3) : set 2 int & get 0 reset (89F4) : set 1 int & get 0 inquire (89F5) : set 1 int & get 0 wds_add (89F6) : set 18 char & get 0 wds_del (89F7) : set 18 char & get 0 maccmd (89F8) : set 1 int & get 0 addmac (89F9) : set 18 char & get 0 delmac (89FA) : set 18 char & get 0 kickmac (89FB) : set 18 char & get 0
./ap_ctrl -p allow leads to:
error opening /dev/ap0
Made the device with mknod as described. A working iwpriv command would be fine, perhaps I made something wrong?!
Thanks and bye,
Frank
