I have just check out hostap from CVS and am getting a kernel panic.
The machine I am running it on runs fine under it's max load in ad hoc mode the linux-wlan-ng-0.1.14-pre6 so I don't think it's hardware.
Kernel 2.4.18 from source, 128 meg of ram, on a ppro 180 Card Dlink-DWL 520
When I initially connect all seems to be going ok but after a while (a couple of minutes use) I get:
EIP: 0010:<c01bfc0e>] Not tainted
Process: swapper - me: nothing else has even cause a fault in the swapper on this well used machine with this same kernel register and hex call stack ...
<0>kernel panic: Aiee, killing interrupt handler! In interrupt handler - not syncing
syslog looks like this:
ul 25 23:05:31 [kernel] hostap_pci: hostap_pci.c 0.0.0 CVS (SSH Communications Security Corp, Jouni Malinen)
Jul 25 23:05:31 [kernel] hostap_pci: Registered netdevice wlan0 Jul 25 23:05:31 [kernel] wlan0: NIC: id=0x8013 v1.0.0 Jul 25 23:05:31 [kernel] wlan0: PRI: id=0x15 v1.0.5 Jul 25 23:05:31 [kernel] wlan0: STA: id=0x1f v1.3.4 Jul 25 23:05:31 [kernel] wlan0: LinkStatus=2 (Disconnected) Jul 25 23:05:31 [kernel] wlan0: Intersil Prism2.5 PCI: mem=0x44100000, irq=11 Jul 25 23:05:31 [kernel] wlan0: prism2_open
Anyone got any suggestions?
