RE: Kernel freeze under heavy (transmit) load

Hi,
I've been getting the same problem with the 2002-05-19 driver .. In previous versions the wlan card would just suddenly stop sending/recieving packets under load and I had to reset the driver by hand to get it working again - now it works under load most of the time but will occasionally freeze the system. (At least I think it's the wlan.. having tried narrowing it down that's what it looks like so-far)

I'm using:
  Mandrake 8.2
Kernel: 2.4.18-6mdk (which is, iirc, the Mandrake Kernel addition)   external pcmcia - pcmcia-cs-3.1.33
Zoom Air 4100 wlan card in a pci card adapter, hostap_cs as my wlan driver

Has anyone come up with a definitive explanation for this behaviour and (more) hopefully a solution? =)

Thanks,
Matt
