Linking a HostAP and a real AP together?

Hi!

I know that there is a problem with wds on the firmware of the prism2 cards, and that this makes it imposible for us to communicate with a real AP using wds.

What I'd like to know is if there is any other way to connect a AP using HostAP mode to a real AP other than wds that could be used right now, and if ther is none now if there is gonna be any in the future and wich one will it be.

I think that this is a important thing when it comes to interoperating in MAN, I offer myself for helping on this if there is anything I can do, I can at least test things here.
