Hi,

Its starting to seem like my initial impression of the situation was correct. I think the card I have is DOA. I'm trying to get a new one from the distributor. Ive been in contact with technical support from actiontec, they initially seem to be of the same opinion, however are keen to run a few more tests.

I've been told that the card works under Linux, and the hostap driver, and there are no reasons to believe that what I want it to do are any more different. All signs point to the card being compatible and that it *should* function correctly. I'll post more when I know it.
