No, prism2_ap.c (or nowadays hostap_ap.c) is not designed for that. It will be included in some other file (hostap.c in latest CVS snapshot, something else in the 2002-05-19 release). It requires headers etc. from the other files and furthermore, it is designed to be a kernel module, not user space code..

If you like to get some code that performs similar things that prism2_ap.c, but is for user space, I would suggest taking a look at the hostapd daemon in the latest CVS snapshot (from http://hostap.epitest.fi/)
