hello,

a while ago i was using a plx card(corega PCIA-11, or should I say it is a NDC OEM...NCP 130) with linux-wlan-ng's AP mode, and then I tried to switch to hostap, and tried to upgrade it's firmware. finally it's DEAD.

so I took a pc card from my office and used it for the time being. using CVS 1/july/02. so far so good.

and now my plx card is back from the factory, still running 0.7.6 firmware (sign)

okay I downloaded the latest CVS from web, compiled and installed, but it doesn't start correctly. the first trial say cannot read hardware address, resulting a all 0 mac address. so i rebooted and try again, and it give me unable to reset MAC 0.

switch back to CVS 1/july/02, it work!
any hints?

p.s. and how is the status of RAM firmware support? I don't feel good using 0.7.6 : )

p.s. 2 DON'T FIX SOMETHING THAT ISN'T BREAK!
