I can acknowledge that your email made to the list and I have read it. However, I have been queuing issues that would require some testing or closer studying from my part since I have not been and will probably not be for some time at my main development site (i.e., I'm on holiday and things like good weather and so on are affecting allocation of my time resource ;-).

I remember fixing something related to TIM setting (and this is the only thing using set_rid during TX/RX) some time ago. I think this solved some crash, so I would suggest testing the latest CVS version. If the re-{,un}setting TIM messages that have been reported with the latest version are causing some noticeable problems, there is probably something else that still needs fixing. It is also possible, that this message can be simply ignored and the driver just does a bit of extra work that it would not really have needed to do.
