Hi,
The 'message type' of the receive frame 'Status field' take 4 type of values. In the data sheet just the four type of values(0,1,2,4) are mentioned. I would like to know the structure of data portion for each message type. My understanding is as follows,

0(Normal) - Rxed is data frame and the 1st byte of the data portion in thr Rxed frame corresponds to the 1st byte of normal 802.3 data portion(ie 802.3 hdr will not be there in the data portion of the Rxed frame)

1(RFC1042 Encoded)- Rxed is data frame and the 1st byte of the data portion in the Rxed frame corresponds to the 1st byte of LLC+SNAP header and remaining things follows it.

2(Bridged-Tunnel)- ??(I have no idea about the data portion)

4(802.11 Mgmt Frame)- Rxed is 802.11 management frame and the 1st byte of the data portion in the Rxed frame corresponds to the 1st byte of the frame 802.11 management frame's frame body and remaining things follows it. Does this includes Control frame also ?

Pls correct me.

Thanks,
Selva.
