iwpriv mac acl with hostapd

Dear all.

I have found some curious issue.. when I compile hostap with hostapd option. and running hostapd daemon in user mode.

Why hostapd does not use with mac related ioctl ? for example maccmd, addmac, delmac ? Are there any relationship between hostapd and above ioctl ?
