Re: Senao NL-2511CD + PCMCIA / PCI Adapter TI 1410 --> hfa384x_cmd - timeout - reg=0xffff

Hi,

i'm guessing the problem is due to the PCI adaptor being not compatible to Senao card.

i've vendors recommending me to use the "Generic" PCI adaptor with Richoh chip R5C475II. seems like the TI pci adaptors are proprietary to certain use of brands on Wireless LAN/Eth cards only.

my setup here is using Senao NL-2511CD plus Ext2 + Generic PCI adaptor with Richoh R5C475II chip (from Senao/SparkLAN) for the hardware and using hostap_cs (19052002 version), been functioning very well for 4mths.

you can take a look at my url for details on my setup/config...

OR my "tiny" How-To on WirelessLAN setup,

cheers,
Yanghwee
