getting hostap_cs back after having wlan-ng installed

Hi,

The linux machine I have used to have the hostap_cs installed for monitoring purposes.

For some reason, the WLAN NIC ("BroMax Freeport 11Mbps 802.11b WLAN Card (Prism2.5)") was changed to connect the linux to a regular Intersil AP. The machine boots with the command "cardmgr[764]: executing: 'modprobe prism_cs' " which loads the wlan-ng and not the hostap.

Now I wish to get the hostap back again. The kernel is compiled with the hostap, but I failed to get it to the cardmgr command. i.e. I would like to get the cardmgr to execute the command 'modprobe hostap_cs' but I fail. Please advice.

Thanks,

Yael
