I can't really help much with this. I would agree that this is probably a pcmcia-cs configuration problem. PCMCIA HOWTO has some information on debugging crashes and I would recomment going through it. I know that hostap_cs.o works fine with two cards on the same host, so I would start removing irq/ioports to test another selection, etc.
