Please re-test with the latest CVS snapshot. Previously the bug in payload length produced frames that had 8 bytes of garbage in the end of the frame (in addition to the worse proble of overwriting the buffer). It might be possible that Linux client accepts such frames, but Win2k drops them in some cases.
