You could also test this by using both host decryption and encryption in the Host AP driver. It should work with 104-bit keys even if the card itself does not support it (or if the driver has a bug in card WEP configuration). Host encryption is already used in Master mode (due to firmware problems) and host decryption can be enabled with 'prism2_param wlan0 host_decrypt 1'.
