I'm still waiting for an answer on that. Or at least some acknowledgement that my email made it to the list. I've posted a very similar error twice now. And it crashed my box twice.
The only difference in my setup now versus before I had this issue is I now use the Linux kernel's ethernet bridging functionality, so I essentially have my own virtual bridge setup. I don't know how this is causing a problem, but I didn't seem to have it before I bridged my wlan0 interface.
If your setup doesn't include virtual bridging, that could rule out my guess that it's related to that.
So, in short, I have no real idea. And no one who would know better than I has cared to respond thus far, sadly.
