Since posting this I've noticed lots of "prism2: Shutdown failed" messages -
just like below. Seems to happen in many cases not just when trying to
enable WEP.
Changing the command timeout in prism2.c has resolved this problem to me -
was 100, now 1000 (just to see)
ie I now have:
#define HFA384X_CMD_BUSY_TIMEOUT 1000
#define HFA384X_BAP_BUSY_TIMEOUT 5000
However WEP still doesn't work, although adding tracing suggests the right keys/length are getting passed down.. I'll have to look at exactly what's set in the RIDs. I'm using station firmware 8c3 in ad-hoc mode.
